What are the methods for beautiful teeth?

There are several methods to get beautiful teeth. Many factors play a role in the choice of the method, such as individual preferences, dental needs in esthetic dentistry and financial possibilities. Ceramic venners are a very quick way to get the perfect Hollywood smile, mainly because ceramics remain stable, both in shape and color.

Whereas resin veneers are more prone to discoloration and are not the best option for long-lasting stability. Here are some more examples of methods:

Different types of veneers

When it comes to improving the appearance of bad teeth, veneers are the best option. There are different types of veneers, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. You can read about what each of them is here in this article .

Veneers Arten

Remember that the best option for you depends on your individual needs and preferences. So if you’re thinking about getting ceramic veneers, be sure to consult with a dentist to find out which type of veneers is best for you.

Here is a before and after for comparison.

Bleaching

A popular option is teeth whitening, called bleaching, to remove stains and discoloration. Bleaching treatments can be performed at home or in a dental office, and the cost ranges from 30€ to 70€ per tooth, depending on the method.

We recommend that you only have professional bleaching performed by a dentist, because only a dentist can achieve an optimal result and only a dentist can guarantee that the gums are protected.

Tooth fillings with plastic or ceramic inlay

In many cases, it is sometimes sufficient to treat the tooth with a little plastic, for example, if only a small corner of a tooth needs to be touched up. Or a molar tooth has a minimal caries, which can then be treated with a composite filling.

Another method is to restore the tooth with an inlay, this variant is the most effective for the longevity of a filling in the molar region, because ceramic does not wear out over the years as is the case with plastic. Also, the material does not warp and any discoloration is prevented. The cost of a composite filling is about 30€ to 80€ per tooth and a ceramic inlay about 350 – 500 €.

Crowns

Depending on the case, it is sometimes necessary to restore one or more teeth with a crown, this occurs when a tooth has too little of its own healthy tooth substance to build up a stable filling. In this procedure, the tooth is prepared to such an extent that it can be preserved and fitted with a dental crown.

The material and the cost of this varies, depending on the size and location. For an all-ceramic crown, the co-payment is 700 – 1000 € per tooth. Whereas an unveneered full cast crown is €250 – €400. There are also variants of the material in between, such as an alloy crown of non-precious metals, crown with partial veneer, partial ceramic crown, gold crown and a double crown with denture.

Implants

Also an implant is conceivable and must be clarified individually, since for this also the bone structure of the jaw must be given, if this is not the case, it is also possible to let grow artificial bone structure. Depending on the material, prices also vary here and are around €1,400 – €2,500 per implant.

Zahnimplantat

Prostheses

If many teeth are already missing, there is still the option of a clasp denture, model cast denture, telescopic denture or a total denture. Whereby here still some implants for the better stability are conceivable and the costs also turn out very differently and lie with approx. 500 – 1,000 €, if implants are added, the price rises here naturally.

Braces

In case of gaps, tooth or jaw misalignment, braces can also be the solution for a beautiful natural smile. As you can imagine, there is no one-size-fits-all solution.

In modern dentistry, there are now numerous options, including traditional fixed braces, with metal brackets, ceramic brackets, self-ligating brackets, lingual brackets, retainers, loose braces or transparent clear aligners.

The latter is especially popular in adulthood, as these splints are transparent and can be worn almost imperceptibly and comfortably in everyday life.
